3/4/14 Visited for NPD! The place was packed as expected with large groups of teens, families, seniors. The staff was organized and efficient. My wait was at max 10-15 min on such a day. My waiter Danielle was attentive and patient with my indecision as to what else to order. I loved the fact that they gave me a carafe full of coffee in case I wanted seconds and liked the mug. Where can I buy one? The pancakes(buttermilk) were delicious and plenty(3) and free. I ordered also a sandwich and cup of mixed fruits. Perfect. Will go back.

Sunday (March 8) at the IHOP Restaurant in Irondequoit, NY., about 5:10 p.m. I brought a party of four, including two octogenerian adults. The place was less than half full. We waited 25 minutes before a server visited our table. I asked for coffee, a Swiss coffee, and water for all four. A second server brought us four waters and a coffee, spilled the four waters, and left the Swiss coffee without the brown sugar or whipped topping advertised in the menu. We had no silverware -- but it didn't matter, since Server No. 2 didn't bring sugar or sweetener (none on the table rack) and took away the creamers he'd brought when he spilled the water. I had to walk into the servers' station to request napkins and a towel to clean up the water spilled on my father-in-law's coat and our table. A third server took our meal order. It took another 30-plus minutes for the meals to be served. Mid-way through the meal, a side door was opened and the alarm sounded for a solid five minutes before someone figured out how to turn it off. This was by far the worst dining experience I can remember. I can't imagine why silverware, sugar, and other basics aren't stocked on each table. Do they think people come to IHOP to steal Splenda packets and napkins? No one should need to ask for these items. When a staff member spills something, he or she should be back with napkins or towel to soak it up in less than a minute. No one should need to go hunt for these items. The music was a little noisy and a good choice for 12-year-olds. We didn't order dessert, and left as quickly as possible. We will not return. Why is this place still in business?

Place was terrible! One waitress. Place is Dirty.and very Slow. Employees have bad attitudes. Took 12 mins before the waitress even took our drink order and another 5 to get them. Food took forever. Was not great. Not sure if the waitress is the owner or what but you could hear her yelling at the cooks the whole time. Save you're time and money and go elsewhere. In total we were there for an hour! Who has an hour for breakfast !

Terrible quality here, pretty ghetto! The waitress had an attitude, and the plates were dirty! Do not come here! They even charge $3.00 for a small glass of a soft drink! Overall horrible experience!

We go here a lot. Partly due to all the groupon offers but quite frankly and surprisingly I love it. We get eggs with toast, bacon and split an order of Swedish crepes. The food is good, eggs are consistently spot on to order and the crepes are delicious. I even braved the sirloin tips and eggs once and they were excellent. It's good enough that we will wait for 20-30 mins on sat or sun morning to eat there. You're better off going in the evening even for breakfast.

Nice variety of breakfast choice, fast pace service and good omelettes. Fast-food like environment.

Very good food, super-friendly and attentive waitress. Food was very good and tasty; I've got to say that the red skin potatos were some of the best I've had anywhere.

Waited 25 minutes on a Thursday 12 lunch. Everyone seemed miserable.

Fast service for a sunday and ok food. I had the chicken fingers with a waffel. The waffel was a little over cooked but i was starved and was glad it came so fast for a place being so busy.

A group of us planned a breakfast/business meeting at your location since you were conveniently located between all of us. The restaurant was spacious, spotless and the staff was very nice. When I asked for a table near a power plug the hostess asked if we wanted internet. I said "Yes, of course ". That is when she told us it was not available. "Many people ask for it but we don t have it for guests." We thanked her profusely and went 150 yards north (a 20 second drive) to a another breakfast place (T.H.) with smaller tables, noisier atmosphere, more crowded but with superb working WiFi. With so many people doing business on the road and carrying smart phones today, any restaurant that wants to attract customers needs working WiFi. Heck, we can even get it for free at McD. For many people a " Free WiFi " sign on the door is more attractive than any menu special. I tried to enter this comment privately on IHOP s website but it would not work. Rather than have others be disappointed, I decided to post here. IHOP can respond if/when they finally have a Guest WiFi working.

Bland food with breakfast items coated in sugar to entice children. The service is horribly slow. Lunch service took 45 minutes from sitting to being served. We only ordered 2 dishes of pancakes. Kids were kicking our torn and sticky booth seats and parents were yelling. Everything here has a layer of sticky grime to it. There's what appears to be frosting on the window. Hilarious. IHOPE to never return.

Omelettes are greasy, overflowing with oil. Decent place for a nice breakfast though, although not enough for more than 2 stars. The waitresses are usually nice and friendly. Portions are huge. Their Healthy menu is not diverse enough. So if you want a healthy breakfast, don't go to ihop.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
